Through The Looking Glass
Uncomfortable Identity
Through the Looking Glass is a project where the men, women and children will kill, incarcerate, rape and pillage are given a name. The viewer is led down a spiral of brushed glass images of victims that are etched into the mirror, as they overlap against each other. The Spiral leads to a point where the viewer must bump into the people beset them, and actually make an interaction. This is in relation to the disconnect that we have to the world around us, drawing from the AntiGalleri, where I highlighted the disconnect that we have from the world in front of us. In the age of infinite information.
